The gasoline inverter portable, Onan 4500 Watt Generator P4500i with Remote Start makes just 52 dBA noise—quiet enough to have a normal conversation just a few feet away. The 4500 Generator is a fuel efficient, portable inverter generator with a variable speed engine that adjusts to the present load. An Automatic Choke ensures easy starts and reduces fuel consumption. The portable inverter runs for 18 hours at 25% load and 15 hours at 50% load. Approved for sale in all 50 states including California, the P4500i is CARB and EPA Compliant.
Rated at 3700 running watts and 4500 peak watts, the 4500 Watt Generator has two 120-Volt, 20-Amp Outlets, one TT-30R 120-Volt, 30-Amp outlet, and a pair of 5-Volt DC USB Outlets rated at 1 amp and 2.1 Amps. A Reset Breaker provides overload protection. Automatic voltage regulation and less than 3% Total Harmonic Distortion provide clean power for sensitive electronics and everyday appliances. Parallel a second P4500i for up to 50-Amps of Power.

Cummins Onan provides a residential warranty of 3 years, and a 1-year commercial warranty.

Perfect Little Power Pack for a big RV
We purchased this Generator for use with out Live In Horse Trailer. It is small, compact, fits away inside easy and is ready for use at a moments notice. It runs our 30 Amp demand for A/C and is nice to have without being noticeable inside the cabin. The retractable handle makes for easy loading and the battery start with a remote, makes it easy to quiet the machine when no longer in use. It has been ultra reliable over the past two seasons and we take it into remote spots. I can't think of a better, more quiet generator, with name barnd reliability.

Works excellent
Only two issues. Pull rope broke recently. Replacement is too much work so I must keep battery charged. Changing the oil is a pain but I have made it easier by Making changes.

Great machine, Great Company
This generator is super quiet, Love that it Powers all my appliances in my toy hauler. UPS Shipping was a night mare but the company (Sharon) assisted me in getting it straightened out. Yes I will buy from this company again.

Poor Communication Practices
I placed my order on February 20th ,2022. It’s says it’s still pending. I’ve emailed twice regarding the status of my generator and haven’t heard a peep. ?????? The star rating is for the company not the product. I can’t review a product I haven’t received yet.

Needs repair right out of the box.
Generator box arrived in good condition so I thought no problem I'll get it going immediately. After prepping it, tried to start generator, but wouldn't start. Checked spark plug & fuel. Decided to check automatic choke to see if it was working, wasn't. I was able to start it by manually closing & opening the choke. Called Cummins service center in Portland, OR and left message. No response. Called and left message next 2 days. No response. Finally on day 4 they returned my call. Said tech has been out sick and they are backed up with repairs. So got an appointment to take generator in on March 28. So my brand new generator sits for 5 weeks waiting for repair.

Terrible service/product
I received this generator with the battery already hooked and completely dead. After charging it it overnight with the provided charger, the battery will still not charge. Called customer service and told to call manufacturer because that's a defect. Was told to drive 2 hours to get it tested and possibly replaced....really? So if I choose to have it checked and replaced locally I have to pay for the expense! What terrible customer service. So now we have a brand new generator ($1400) with a dead battery and pretty much no warranty unless we drive 2-5 hours away to get it checked. We are not happy with this purchase.

Cant rate it I’m still waiting for it
Only got 1 star because it made me give one . My item says in stock and ready to ship leaves in 1-5 days ... I ordered on the 12th today is the 23rd and still awaiting shipping . If I would have known I would be waiting weeks to receive my purchase I would have driven the 2 1/2 hrs to pick one up from a dealer .

Company doesn't stand behind product.
Little rubber stands under one end instead of wheels falls off bolt. Very poor design! Anyone with common sense knows bolt head is too close to hole size and needs a washer to keep little rubber pads on. Wheels made out of what appears to be some type of rubber and one is coming apart. These things happen first time I carried generator on 5th wheel to use. I bought it from Campers Inn Madison Alabama when I bought my camper trailer. I carried it back to Campers Inn and they contacted the Cummins Onan and was told it wasn't their problem to contact distributer. The distributer didn't design and produce it. All I got was a run around.
