Reliability From the Start
It’s in the engine. With a focus on power generation, Generac designed the engine to endure the long hours of continuous use that generators run. The engine has low oil shutdown and cast iron cylinders for added longevity, features not found on every portable generator engine.
Easily Accessible Controls
A 15000 Watt Portable Generator is ready for use at all times. Generac added maintenance reminders right on the hour meter, and the convenient fuel gauge provides at-a-glance fuel monitoring. Many portable models have controls located in inconvenient locations, making it difficult to access them quickly, especially in the dark. The Generac control panel placement makes it easy to access all the controls and outlets.

Receptacles are protected by circuit breakers to protect cords and prevent overloading. The 50-amp, 120/240 volt receptacle is protected by a toggle-type circuit breaker. All other AC receptacles have push-button type breakers. The 12-Volt DC charging outlet is current limited to 10 amperes. 30-Amp and 50-Amp receptacles require the correct generator cables for use (sold separately).
• (2) 120V 20-Amp 5-20R Duplex receptacles (one GFCI) provide up to 2400 watts of power each.
• (2) 120V 30-Amp L5-30R Twist Lock receptacles provide up 3600 watts of power each.
• (1) 125/250V 30-Amp L14-30R Twist Lock receptacle for up to 7200 watts of power.
• (1) 125/250V 50-Amp 14-50R supplies 12,000 watts of power
• (1) 12-Volt, 10-Amp outlet allows battery charging using the included clip on battery cord.
This generator has ground bonded to neutral and tied to the generator frame. Additional grounding lugs bonded to the frame allow connection to suitable earth grounds rods.

The hardened steel frame gives our portable generator cradles added strength and are a premium 1¼” thick, a full ¼” thicker in diameter than competitors' models. The addition of integrated brackets and impact resistant corners on most models gives contractors rugged options ideal for job site use.

Emergency Power for Mountain Ranch
Northeast Washington State. Power outages are frequent and pumping water for livestock and fire season are important. This generator is the largest portable I could find. Norwall price and Service are excellent. The Generac quality has always been a factor in our purchase decision. The Norwall internet site and communications are perfect for remote locations. The delivery was flawless. The generator fits well in the back of a four wheeler for remote locations. It is reliable and easy to maintain.

Very Pleased with both Norwall and B&S. First of all Norwall - Sales team was excellent, friendly, and helpful. Support(Sharon) was fantastic, always helpful, and friendly. Shipping was fast, smooth and without issues. Driver transported generator directly to the placement area(within 5 feet or less).. B&S support was a little less knowledgeable that expected, but overall, good. Generator design was good, with the exception of the pre-punched electrical knock-out. The factory hole was 3/4", and not suited for any size conduit capable of carrying 3- - #4 AWG and gnd. This hole had to be resized to 1 1/2" and another hole was needed for the control conduit(don't run everything through one larger conduit). The electrical wire chase for the connections was tight, so plan accordingly for both conduit connections. The Transfer SW was perfect, except the documentation didn't refer to the configuration DIP SW labels on the actual PC board correctly. There are two sets of DIP switches to identify the generator size. This was fairly easy to set once I figured out the old values with the new ones on the PC board. The Battery sizes listed in the manual are also a little confusing. For most climates, the 26R battery should be used. This battery is a top post style battery. The Cold climate recommendation is a Size 75 battery. Which is actually a side post battery. This battery doesn't adapt well since the posts are wrong. Do a little research before you buy the battery. All this said, I would still buy this generator in a heartbeat. Its strong, reliable, and worth the money. After the installation(Natural Gas), and whole house transfer sw, the generator started very quickly(within 5 seconds), and ran smoothly. The voltage and frequency was perfect(60htz, and 238v). The first real load test was smooth, and clean. once the house was on generator, (about 20 seconds after engine start), the power was clean. When I restored utility power, the transfer back to the grid was unexpectedly seemless(Not even a flicker on the lights). My real ratings are 5 star for Norwall, and 4 for B&S.

Very reliable
I just went through hurricane Nate and was without power for 10 years last night. The generator was great! No more burning up and sweating in this southern humidity. I give this generator an A+. Did not miss a beat. Also, A+ for Norwall. They made purchasing very easy and they were very knowledgeable.
